Education Objectives: At conclusion of training, participants will be able to:
- Understand basis for modernization of radiation regulations
- Have a basic understanding of the regulatory process in Connecticut and identify opportunities to provide input and comment
- Understand the anticipated timeline for part B radiation regulations
- Understand incorporation by reference related to radiation regulation
- Determine which issues are regulated by Connecticut Department of Public Health and which are regulated by the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP)
- How to contact DEEP for questions related to regulations.
Med Phys SLAM session
This is an in-person meeting. Attendance will be tracked via sign-in sheet at the meeting.
In order to receive credit, the attendees will need to fill out the CAMPEP forms that evaluate the program and speaker which will be provided at the end of the session.
This meeting has applied to CAMPEP for approval of 2.0 MPCEC hours.
